Paul Allen Selling his Tatoosh Yacht for £125 Million

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, has placed his yacht Tatoosh on the market. Already the owner of the Octopus, the 9th-largest yacht in the world, Allen is selling his Tatoosh (26th largest) for £125 million ($170 million).

Tatoosh’s features include five decks, a master “Greg” suite, saloon with limestone fireplace, dining area, and a powder room for the ladies’ powder room, which is on the main deck. A custom Hinckley powerboat and sailboat, as well five sea doo’s make for easy passage off the yacht. With nine additional guest staterooms and two staff cabins, there is enough room for 20 guests and 30 crew members. Tatoosh also includes two helipads, private cinema, and a swimming pool.

First built in 2000 by HDW Nobiskrug, the 92.42-meter ship was designed by Kusch Yachts, with Terence Disdale outfitting the interior. It underwent a complete refitting this year. Tatoosh was originally built for Craig McCaw, of McCaw Cellular (bought by AT&T); Allen purchased it in 2001 for a reported $100 million.

Docked out of the Cayman Islands, the Tatoosh is being sold by Fraser Yachts of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
